Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Kochi

Welcome to Kochi, popularly known as “THE QUEEN OF ARABIAN SEA”. On arrival at the Kochi international port start your journey to the hotel in Kochi. Check-in into the hotel and relax. One may go explore the local markets of Kochi for a little souvenir quest. (By own) In the evening meet & greet with your Tour Manager & co travellers of the Group. Dinner will be served at Hotel.

Note: Lunch will be served at respective hotel if guests reach the Hotel before 14:00 hrs.

Day 2 : Kochi To Munnar [Approx. 130 KMS / 4.5-Hour Drive]

Relish delicious breakfast at the hotel and check-out from Hotel by 08:30 AM to explore a few nearby tourist attractions of Kochi. Visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace – (closed on Fridays and public holidays), which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch in 1663. Visit the Jewish Synagogue (closed on all Saturdays and Jewish holidays), Visit St. Francis Church – (closed on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs) the oldest European Church in India, See the Chinese Fishing Nets, along the tip of Fort Cochin unique to this part of Kerala and living symbols of a centuries-old Chinese influence on this coast. After Fort Kochi sightseeing proceed to Marine drive by local ferry & India’s first Water Metro. Tea / Coffee break at Marine drive. After sightseeing proceed for Traditional Kerala Veg Sadhya Lunch. After Lunch start your journey to the hill station of Munnar. Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by captivating hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’ and will surely hold you captive throughout your stay. On the way stopover for Tea / Coffee break & later visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls & Valara Waterfalls. Arriving in this hilly retreat, you will be checked-in to a hotel.

Day 3 : Munnar

After a satisfying breakfast get ready by 08:30 AM to leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Smell the aroma of tea plantations in Munnar and spot the elusive Nilgiri Tahr at Eravikulam National Park, enroute visit Tea Estates. After sightseeing proceed for Lunch at local restaurant. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point, Pothenmedu View Point, The Blossom Hydel Park and Munnar Botanical Garden & local market. Tea / Coffee break. After visiting the attractions, you will be driven back to the hotel for a comfortable stay. Dinner will be served at Hotel.

Note: Eravikulam National park is closed from 1st Feb to 31st March due to breeding season of the Nilgiri Tahr. Alternate sightseeing will be provided as per feasibility and time.

Day 4 : Munnar To Thekkady [Approx. 120 KMS / 4-Hour Drive]

After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel at 08:30 AM and we will drive you to a next highly picturesque destination Thekkady. Enroute visit Tea Factory & Spice Plantation. Tea / Coffee break. After sightseeing proceed for Lunch at local restaurant. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for some time. Later walk on the street on Thekkady and visit Elephant Junction to enjoy Elephant Ride & also watch a live show of Kalaripayattu (Kerala Martial arts) After a joyful day return back to hotel & have Relaxing Foot Massage for 15 Minutes (Only for adults 18 years and above). Dinner will be served at Hotel.

Day 5 : Thekkady – Alleppey [Approx. 140 KMS / 3.5-Hour Drive]

This morning after a delicious breakfast, checkout from hotel 08:30 and you will be driven to Alleppey. Alappuzha (Alleppey) is famous as ‘the Venice of the East’. Tea / Coffee break. Enjoy Houseboat cruise with Lunch at Alleppey on Backwaters. Later proceed to the hotel for a comfortable stay. Dinner will be served at Hotel.

Day 6 : Alleppey To Kochi [Approx. 75 KMS / 2.5-Hour Drive]

Devour your breakfast and then check-out from the hotel. You’ll be transferred to the Kochi port to board the cruise. The guest can board the ship as per the schedule time. All guests need to be on the ship 4 hours prior to the sailing. Request all guests to check with their sales representative for cruise boarding timing. Once on board the guests can go around the ship and see the set sail from Cochin port sipping a drink at the Pool Deck. Evening goes with watching one of the featured Broadway show or dinner at any of the restaurants. Find a variety of entertainment- wander into the piano bar, try your luck in the casino or step out to a dance band in one of the bars. Then you can head to the disco where the DJ spins the hits all night long.

Overnight: Onboard the Cruise

Day 7 : High Seas

The guests can enjoy day time activities onboard the ship, from dance classes, deck and pool, cooking demonstrations. There is Fitness activities from the fitness enthusiast to the fitness devotee. Lay by the pool side or the indoor Jacuzzi and finally unwind with a relaxing steam and sauna bath. Evening goes with watching one of the featured Broadway show or dinner at any of the restaurants. Find a variety of entertainment- wander into the piano bar, try your luck in the casino or step out to a dance band in one of the bars. Then you can head to the disco where the DJ spins the hits all night long. We don’t want you to simply watch a show; we want you to experience it. With a brand new show, specially designed for the Costa Serena Cruise guest, we will have you singing along and apart of the action from overture to final bows. Day 8 : Goa

Ship sails from Goa in the morning. The guests can enjoy onboard entertainment and walk around the ship. Children can use the kids pool and kids play area and adults can enjoy the casino or the pool deck. Spa and salon can also be accessed for any treatments and massages. The spaces of Costa Serena are majestic, enriched with precious materials and scenic architecture, such as the Giove Theatre, with seating for 1,350 that extends over three decks in a triumph of lights and is the stage for the great on-board shows, or the delightful Cupido Ballroom, inspired by the theme of love.
